NCMA and Bidscale Celebrate Adoption of the CMS™

November 21, 2023

Bidscale comes out of the National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) final Government Contract Management Symposium (GCMS), in Bethesda, Maryland as the first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) adopter of the Contract Management Standard™ (CMS™)! We were incredibly honored to be recognized at the GCMS General Session Opening Keynote by NCMA CEO, Kraig Conrad, for implementing the CMS into the platform.

Adoption and Implementation

Following Bidscale and NCMA’s Joint Press Release on October 3, 2023 and within the week, the team rapidly implemented the CMS™ into its platform with AI-powered workflows for its customers to use today. CMS™ workflows, leveraging a common language for contract management professionals, provide Acquisition Team members with one-click access to automated templates and plans for pre-award, award, and post-award processes.

At GCMS, Bidscale's live demonstrations brought the CMS™ to life, transforming process maps on paper into a dynamic and automated workflow within a digital platform. The integration of CMS™ into Bidscale’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform represents our unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our contracting user base. Brie Staker, NCMA Director of Certification and Standards, was impressed and thankful with Bidscale’s speed to execution as an early adopter, as a leader amongst “CMS and Common Language adopters in the spotlight”.

Moving Forward with the CMS™ and CMBOK®

Bidscale is excited to take the CMS™ integration even further by integrating additional concepts and processes from the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK®) across critical stages of the acquisition lifecycle: Market Research, Pre-Award, Award, and Post-Award. NCMA’s Senior Director of Learning, Samantha Williams, was excited after seeing a live demonstration at GCMS

Let’s Meet at the Next NCMA Event!

Looking beyond the successful participation in GCMS, Bidscale eagerly anticipates joining NCMA Nexus in Jacksonville, Florida and ultimately NCMA World Congress in Seattle, Washington to continue to show new features and capabilities to further accelerate Federal Contracting Officers and Acquisition Teams in their day to day activities.
