Working at Bidscale – An Inside Look at Life at A Tech Startup

ARLINGTON, VA., June 22, 2022 -- Bidscale has released a four-part video series, created to give prospective employees an inside look at what it is like to work for the startup.

The first video in this series is an introduction to the Chief of Staff and “Champion of Culture”, Liam McLaughlin. In it, he explains the overarching mission and how the tech company works to create a culture where its employees can thrive. Bidscale offers a fully remote working environment, unlimited PTO with a robust maternity/paternity plan, flexible work schedules, 401(k) match, Free Meal Fridays, and competitive compensation.

Bidscale strongly believes in empowering team members to be true masters of their crafts. The second video in the series introduces a member of the Design Team who exemplifies this, Shane Harry. As a gifted artist, he uses his skills to support a key value at Bidscale, do beautiful: if it's worth doing, it's worth doing beautifully.

The third video is a candid discussion with two members of the Engineering Team, senior level product managers Tayler Butterfield and Amanda Blackwell. In it, they highlight examples of the company culture and what it’s like to work at Bidscale as a woman.

The fourth and final video provides a unique look at one of the company’s quarterly summits in Washington, DC through footage taken by employees. Culture is key at Bidscale and the summits allow employees to connect in person as Bidscale is a remote-first company. In addition to hiring world-class talent, this startup places a strong emphasis on hiring employees who mesh well with the values, attitudes, and overall empowering nature of the company.

The Bidscale team has one main goal in mind, accelerating government innovation. They believe it is their duty as Americans to create world-class and intelligent technology that enables their customers to better serve the American people.

Bidscale is currently hiring for several positions and all of them can be found on the Bidscale website.
